hi all,unfortunately my 1991 cali 1.6 td has died on me I am in need of replacing the engine so i am looking at buying another engine,now after having the 1.6 lump i have decided that seen as i am replacing this i'm gonna put something with a bit more ooomph in i don't have a great deal of mechanical knowledge so i am in need of your expert help here,What do you reccommend i've heard of aaz and aag but this means nothing to me can anyone tell me what doner car i should be looking at which will have the engine i am looking for so that it will bolt straight in to my beloved westie.Thanks all in advance.

go have a look in the alternative engine section....or search on 1.9 using the tools above. You will find tons to read.
