Fuel pump oil drip

Hi folks .After spending 3 hours fixing oil leaks,tube seals etc only to find drip drip drip from fuel pump drain pipe.Is this normal.What happens if I peg the pipe,will oil pressure build up under the pump diaphram-Any thoughts.1982 2lt air cooled. PS back end was jacked.

i've just plugged mine as it was peeing out :lol: dunt matter on mine tho as its only there blocking the hole,, leccy pump fitted. i guess it must serve a purpose or vw wouldn't have gone to the trouble of fitting it :shock:

Oil can come up the pump push rod. If you remove the push rod, you should block the upsh rod hole.
