hi guys . on my 89 lhd westy i have headlamp beam deflecters made from 3" wide gaffer tape it went thro the test o.k last year are we still ok doing this or will i need to change to r.h.d headlamps, they are the sq. ones ..thanks in advance for any info. ps i did look on wiki. cheers rick.

still OK although it could be argued that the beam intensity would be effected by overly large sections of the lens being taped off with solid gaffa tape.
Best get some proper light benders from Brickwerks.

Hi, ya should pass ok as long as the beam don't kick up the wrong way (with it been a LHD) and is a flat line.......I would pass it anyway.

me to, no probs with home made beam deflecters i pass them quite often as we do quite a lot of lhd`s.
