Oil Temperature for a TDI

Post by slobbo »

Can anybody tell me what what the oil temperature reads in your TDI conversion. I've just put in a guage and want to know what normal is for most.

I have an intercooler and an external oil cooler so I am hoping it reads nice and cool.

Also does anybody have a Autogauge Oil Temperature gauge? The sender in my pack is the right thread but is quite long so have been looking for an adapter to stand it out a bit. Has anyone put it straight in? If so any flow problems?
Cheers
Rob.

Mines 100 degress at 70mph, cools alot when in traffic, probably down to 75-80 degrees.
No oil cooler other than the one it came with on the filter casing.
