Some new repair panels at Schofields (2008 Catalogue)

Post by Cruz »

I'm in the process of scanning the new catalogue seeing as it's not online. (Now linked below)

Peeps may not be aware but there are a few extra repair panels that were not listed when the website used to show the parts diagram

Outer Sill O/S £29( from sill seam with the side panel down to the join with the inner sill)

Outer Sill N/S including lower sliding door seal channel £25 (from the seal channel down to the join with the innner sill)

Front panel lower repair (the area that rusts behind the bumper from the join with the cross member behind the bumper to the bottom of the lower grill)

Windscreen repair £25 in 3 parts (for fixing rotted windscreen frames)

Washer Jet £4.50

Wiper Arm £18

They also told me that they stock the Rear wing lower part for both sides now.

Very useful info - thanks for that.

Its getting better every year for the T25 isnt it. I'll be needing a rear arch in a year or two....

You should see the thickness of the Rust Bucket Bay Window brochure compare to the Wedge. Nearly 3 times the size.

Parts I bought were very good quality. Sliding door repair inner and outer, n/s short sill, n/s lower sill, O/S rear lower corner.

In fact there was hardly any noticeable difference between the genuine N/S VW lower corner and the (now obselete at VW) O/S Lower corner from Schofields. Small panel I know but still

Have got Schofelds rear corners, rear arches and front arches and drivers step......hopefully won't be needing much soon....
Have still got the lower fridge panel to have put on. Next year I reckon.

The bodyshop seemed to think they were pretty good :D

I have bought rear corners and outer sills in the past - the quality has been very good.

So much so that I will be buying a new outer sill for my new van next week.

Here's the 2008 catalogue I scanned

Please right click and 'Save Target As' 3mb in size

saving it to your own PC seems to always work whereas viewing it direct from the link is subject to bandwidth limits and will probably not work 8 times out of 10

Nope you won't get one. They are an obsolete panel now, we tried everywhere. It'll be either a good second hand panel, or getting someone to fabricate the repair piece you have mentioned.
