First the funny bit (not) this weekend rather than putting water into the water tank i managed to put it into the petrol tank, luckily i run on LPG so up to now not a disaster.
But obviously i need to get the petrol tank drained an dried out, i have tried getting a pipe into the tank to siphon the contents out but there seems to be an obstruction which may be an awkward bend or even an anti siphon device.
So does any body know how feasible or any easy way to remove the contents.
Could it be done from the feed pipe (the one wth the filter on the bottom of the tank), and how do i dry the tank out, maybe just leave it empty and fuel cap off and drive it a few 100 miles letting air circulate
Should i post this in members only maybe.
Thanks for any help

2.1 or 1.9?
use the return to the tank( n/s) and lift the front of the van so you get it all...
i had water in the tank ( not from filling it with it but from road spray in the filler neck, and after id drained it and rapred the filler, i put a gallon of diesel in it flushed it around (by driving on lpg) and then let it out.
