Air filter feed pipe

Post by Snag20 »

On my T25 with a 1.9T/D AAZ conversion I am using the original canister type air filter from its 1.6T/D engine.

Should this air filter cannister be attached with a pipe to the tube which appears to be linked to the black vent on the nearside rear side of my caravelle? accesss seems to be via the rear light apature.

Is should this side vent be linked to my air filter cannister ?

I have not got this connecting pipe, but can fabricated one if needed.

cheers
T

Yes, pipe runs up into the air-vent cavity, with a "snorkel / silencer" on it, connects to the air-filter box about half-way along it`s length (where the stub is)
Keep it real.
