Post by Kev-d »

A quick question. My door has stpped opening, seems to get stuck on the track thing, then when you get it open very hard to push along. Any advice, what should I put on track?

thanks

Kev...firstly have a good dig around in the bottom track and make sure there is nowt in there that shouldn't be......have pulled all sorts out of mine.

I have used spray grease to make mine run smoother - it is actually chain lubricant for motor bikes! Works well, though.

Also - make sure the runners on the door haven't got bent, or the door card is not loose and catching on the van somewhere...

Good luck

Yup trailing end of door card (opposite catch) can really mess things up - gets chewed in process. Agree on muck in bottom track - cleaned mine out today and out rolled one of those ball floating compass type things from the bend area - loads of crap in there and none of it familiar to me.
