If you are like me - you substitute actually doing - with looking at pics of someone else doing the hard graft of body renovation - passing suitably complimentary remarks as you scroll through the pics.
This one has so many of the same issues many of us recognise I thought it worth sharing......

Hi Jaylo,
Used to have a classic resto firm many years ago but same principals apply today,
instead of of using filler/pod whatever you call it you use lead, ie lead loading, filler if you must use it for dents you cant remove but other areas, seams, shut faces and the like then grind off, apply fryolux solder paint(hard to get now) then belfry 5* or other lead different grades are according to tin content ,
its applied with heat and a wooden paddles stick lollypop sticks etc beeswax as a lube and the finnished shape is lead no filler needed will never rot or drop out,
if i can dig out some pickies I will post but at the end of the day it does the same job as filler but 100% better.
Its easy enough once youve been shown, then practice, just like gas welding lead sheet/alluminium etc.
Mike
Just googled this for you
