Pierburg Carbs Accelerator Pump Refurb

Post by syncrodude »

Hi

I'm thinking of refurbing my Pierburg 2E3

Apparently there are 2 kits when checking the Accelerator Pump push rod size , I assume I will have to take apart the Accelerator Pump to check this :?:
Looking at the Wiki ,Is this the part connected to the Diaphragm :?:

its a seperate unit and "kit" as far as I am aware..

the length is whats different as far as I can tell.. (I will stand corrected on this...)

I had a response back from Gower & Lee from the Wiki
that the push rod on the accelerator pump is on the diaphragm , can be 13 or 18mm for my Pierburg.

I quoted the numbers off the body
025 129 015D
VW/AUDI 4 310

me thinks going to undo the pump to see it

Yep if they include it in the kit, the best way is to pop it off to see..
