Front grille eyebrow spoiler fitting!?

Post by orangebooboobearcrew »

Hi,
I've got a eyebrow spoiler to fit to our 1980 air cooled.

Has anyone done this and if so what is the best way to attach it? Would rather not have to screw if possible - someone has suggested velco but how would you attach the back of velcro to the grille & spoiler so it would be strong enough to withstand driving conditions?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Chris

What about those sticky pads used for sticking number plates on? I'd say they'd have the strength to hold the bits in place if they keep the number plate on for years.

velcro sikaflex sticky pads etc all fail and then you end up driving over your grill spoiler!!!

drill two small holes either end of the grill spoiler into the side of the grill.and attatch that way
