Have 1980 Aircooled westy 2L, any Ideas on what battery I need for starting, have search the forum already but no luck.

original would have been a 063 equiv, but a 065, 075 and 085 will fit.

there isnt a good place to buy batterys right now, metal prices are high, so batterys are expensive, so anywhere that dont sell many, but has one in stock , and might still be on old prices would be cheapest, deffo not halfwits, or quickflit

I have had good service from 'Bosch Silver' from GSF (German Swedish and French)

Branches at Worthing and Hastings I believe.

just make sure , if you use the worthing branch that if the little boy serves you, to ask if his dad is there, coz hes about 12 and cant tell the difference between petrol pipe and vac pipe..........apsolutely useless he is!

last time i got a 075 it was 4 years ago....... 36 quid :shock: .....i would want a chauffeur included for that price... :wink:
