turbo manifold

Post by burnsey »

need to source a replacement turbo manifold, you know the one the exhaust bolts on to.

the clever german who owned the van before me welded the exhaust to it as 2 of the bolts had sheared off it.

can anyone recomend a supplier or does anyone have a knackered turbo they would be willing to sell me? my turbo works fine so i don't realy want to fork out £400 for a new one

looks to me that you could take the turbo off, remove the manifold side of it, grind the welds off. you will probably find snapped studs which would need to be removed and replaced. similar amount of work to fitting the part from a knackered turbo...
