Wiper Probs Again

Post by shane r »

I got my 91 back from the MoT testers and the wipers no longer work. Been through hell and shouting matches with them to no avail. I need to try and sort it myself.

Problem: I now only get high speed and not normal or intermittent. Also, in high speed, they won't park.

I have had a qucik look around and have spotted some leads hanging down that were deffo not there before. One is green and the other black. Any ideas?

On further investigation, the rear wiper no longer works but the front washer does work.

Has the switch gone faulty?

Right bought a new switch from GSF and installed. Has made no difference whatsoever.

Really could use some advice if anyone has any more ideas. Going away for a week in it first thing in the morning.

Cheers

After all of that, I found a good article on wiki about it. I checked the relay and the garage had taken it out, turned it upside down and put it back in the wrong place. All front wipers working fine.

Still no back wipers, but I never used them anyway!
