If you have the older round ones you will probably find that the glass is about to become adrift from the metal. This happened to mine and when I tried to remove my continental right hand driving gismos the glass came off in my hand. So it was quite easy to clean and glue back on with clear silicon adhesive. Best not touch the reflector as it will never be the same again. Unless of course anyone knows diferent! You might find your glasses are on the verge of coming off! I am a bugger for cleaning stuff in the dishwasher and might be tempted to carefully place them over the spraybars making sure ther is proper drainage so that the water would spray up through the bulb hole. It works for dizzy caps and HT leads but please don't blame me if it all goes boobys up!dink wrote:the inside of my headlamps have gone foggy

Before the Montreal convention and the banning of CFC's for cleaning we used to have a disaster every now and again at Bae when a night shift worker would clean a carb or the like in the Arklone tank and bugger it up big time. Todays cleaners might be Ozone friendly but they aint exactly sparkling in their performance! I could suggest half a cup of Isopropyle alchohol in the rinse tray but this could bring about an explosion when it reaches the drying cycle.ermie571 wrote:I am a bugger for cleaning stuff in the dishwasher
