Coolant Bleed Valve

Whilst doing a visual inspection I noticed that the coolant bleed valve in the engine compartment is broken in that a previous owner has mangled the screwdriver slot so much it no longer exists and so will no longer open.

A coolant hose runs along the back of the engine and it has a little run off pipe moulded to it. At the end of this pipe is the bleeder valve fitted with the aid of a jubilee clip. The part number is 025-121-421A and the Van is an 83.

Do VW still stock this item? (probably not knowing my luck)

Or does anyone else sell it?

Or should I just leave it as it is?
