17' Porsche cup 2's on t25 side door catching wheel

Post by youthy giblets!!! »

Just fitted my 17' porsche cup 2's to my T25 side door clipping rear wheel when open, is this just a case of cutting and extending the rear part of the sliding door mech or does anything else need altering. cheers Jon

Not sure where from but a mate of mine got hold of an extended sliding door hinge which brought the door out further when opened so it missed the wheels. Not a lot of help I know but just letting you know that they are out there.

its not quite as simple as fitting just the hinge. you will need to do all the associated metalwork too.

How wide are the tyres and how thick are your adaptors? Is it possible to either machine the adaptors down 5mm (cheapest option!) or reduce the tyre width? (not so cheap). The extended hinge is more involved than people first think but there enough peeps to help you with ideas on here!
Thats PEET as in FEET!!!

Hi there i dont no if you have tried, but when i put my wheels on the other daymine where doing the same 235/35/19 with 10mm spacers, on the top runner i adjusted it in more thus making the bottom corner come out,
hope this helps
