oil light
firstly what does it mean, Oil too low, or oil too hot??
i did an oil change bout 10 days ago, drove van twice since, when engine warms up the light will come on when idle ing, not a constant flash but like a loose connection, when i touch the gas the light goes out ?????
any ideas please

Yes I had a touch of that especially towing in rather hot weather. In the end I fitted an oil cooler which did the trick. But I can still get the light to come on if I slow the engine up by dragging the clutch on tickover. I believe there are electronics in the circuit which transform a momentary glitch into a significant event. Frightens the life out of me! I guess an oil pressure guage would be nice if you could stand the stress when in heavy traffic!belle in progress wrote:oil light
