1.6td Rev Counter

Where does the rev counter on a 1.6td JX get its signal from
Is it off the Alternator there are two additional small wires of the back
Never seen them before on a Petrol Alternater.

Yep, it feeds off the alternator..... thought there was only one wire for the tacho though......

quite right TC, the rev counter gets it feed from the "W" terminal on the alternator.
