Seems a dumb question, but how DO you remove either of the two number plate light assemblies? Trying to get mine off so I can create a proper 4xLED array for each instead.
Any ideas?
How to remove number plate light?

1. Pull back the tailgate seal above the numberplate lights.
2. With the thumbs together put a finger either side of the light.
3. Pull down the two little plastic catches, with both fingers and pull the light forward. It sort of just comes forward a bit. Take out lens by removing two screws and place in dishwasher or clean.
Hope that works.
Simon.

Yes, beautifully.
Right, I'm about to convert these housings to take 4 high brightness LEDS each instead of old yellow bulbs. I'll photograph the process and add it to the WIKI for anyone thinking of upgrading to LEDS. There are ready-made LED bulb fitments to replace most T25 lights but I'm going for a custom build including using LED panels in all the rear light clusters. Lets face it, T25 lights are poo.....
