MOT related questions _ if you can help

ok van in for MOT on monday

mostly fine but a few small rust spots the main one of concern is in the drivers footwell ive cleaned it up and there is now a very small hole it is about 3mm long and 2mm wide. what should i do fill it and paint it over, just paint it over or leave the metal bare.

im also thinking of replacing the wipers just because every time i get an MOT they say i need new wipers so they can fit and charge over the odds for them. ive heard you can use different length wipers any ideas what they are?

Re the wipers:
Yes, use bigger wipers to improve the view during rain.

21 inch on drivers (rhs) and 20 inch on passenger (lhs) work fine.
