Table leg mount

Post by Kentboy »

Bought my van in January and finally got round to putting up the swivel leg table.
The good person that homebrewed the van interior forgot to put a base in for the table. :(
Two questions:

1. Any ideas where to get a recessed table base?

2. How do they fix to the floor and could I get this done somewhere?

Thanks in advance,
Kentboy

answer 1. I have one here.
answer 2. You drill a 50mm hole and bolt it down

Thanks Mocki,

How do I get hold of the one you have and how much do you want for it?

So I actually drill right through the floor of the van? Sounds radical but I like the idea of it. Time to get my big boy drill out :P

I am the proud owner of one of these recessed table feet, but am reluctant to bore a "feck" big hole in my bus floor.
Holy "pooh"! We spend most of the time with these buses trying to stop holes appearing only to be faced with the prospect of introducing the mother of all holes.

I don't like the fixed hole in the floor either, much prefer the aluminium folding legs so you can place the table wherever you want. Not expensive, no humendous hole and more versatile (for me anyway!)
