Petrol to Diesel conversion

Post by Doeboy »

Looking to convert my T25 Caravelle 5 speed 1.9 DG (petrol) engine to a 1.9td AAZ.
An engine transplant is well out of my league (mechanical wise) so would need to find someone to do the work. Don't mind traveling distance for the right Guy/Gal

Haven't bought the donor yet in case someone comes up with a better alternative but must be a diesel

Any help appreciated

Where abouts are you?

This isn't very helpful - more of a question. But surely it would be more economical (for all reasons i can think of) just to get your van LPG'd?

With the price of diesel only going to go up - and a diesel conversion wont be cheap - i'd be splashing out a grand to get the van gassed and pay 55pl.
