swivel seats

can anyone tell me how to and where to grease my two front swivel seats in the van as they are stiff as you like when i try to turn them round thanks marc

never took a proper swivel seat base out but if i were you i would take um out and have a good look anything looks metal to metal i would get some grease on it but not too much plus gt it moving as much as you can as with anything if it aint used much it will seaze up!

On my swivel bases there are 4 nylock nuts that hold the swivel plate to the fixed base. If these are overtightened it causes the swiveling to become stiff.

Lift off your seat from the runners and you'll see the nuts, back 'em off a bit, it may help matters, (worked on mine)

While your in there, if you undo the nuts fully you can seperate the two parts and put a bit of grease in between 'em, it won't hurt if it don't help

yes mine was the opposite... too loose same thing , removed tightened , greased
