Turbo conversion kit

Ok - don't think I was that drunk but I'm sure I heard someone mention the possibility of fitting a turbo kit to a T4 2.4 diesel.

Anyone heard of this/done this/know anything about it?

There was a company in Cumbria, or that way that did a kit, unsure of name.
Engine has oil squirters for the back of the bores, swapping to AAZ pistons rather than the 1Y ones it shares with the 1.9 may be a prudent move too.

Pump top should swap accross from another model to gain a LDA.

I'm fairly sure a turbo and manifold etc from a 2.5TDI would work.

This is speculation by the way, never done but no reason why it won't work.

Thanks Simon. Not a job I think we'd attempt! May just have to wait for the engine to die and then replace it!
