Folks,

Q1: Where can i get a replacement regulator for a westy underslung gas tank.

Q2: What is the charging black box that was in the eary westy jokers and is there a wiring diagram around for them.

Gas reg. available from Peter Gunzl, Germany who has the Westfalia factory stock when they cleared it, ring `em or email, they speak good English.

The black box charger under the rear seat was fitted to all Westy campers (maybe not he US Vanagon models though, not sure). They have a small internal fuse that seems prone to blowing, other than that I don`t think people bother to repair them, just replace with a new modern 3-stage charger.
