Beam benders fitting for mot, placement?

Hey all, on a left hand drive vanagon do you fit uk beam benders to the opposite side of the headlights, to get left hand drive headlights to operate like right hand drive lights? Last bit's before mot!!

Cheers for that link keith, new most of that and all i can gather hp that i have to mask the opposite side of the head lamps to allow the left hand drive lamps to work in the uk, not the other way round

To do this neatly and semi permanently you need proper LHD beam benders otherwise you will end up using black tape or putting RHD benders on upside down.
