need to top up the fluid on me 1989 2.1 multivan but the manual is in german :roll:

what fluid do i need cos halforods apparantly dont list anything specifically for the T3 transporter

ATF (Dexron) it says on pages 67 and 70 of 1986 VW instruction manual (Transporter/Caravelle)

sorry for my ignorance

went back to halfords and they had a container of "ATF automatic transmission fluid" that said "meets dexron" (or something :? )

is this what i need ?
