starter motor

back with an other one,Right befor i buy another starter motor,i need to no if i need to as today i try starting the van but did trun so i nock it as we do and yes she goes seem like im doing this all day now should i take it of and put some oil on it as it mit be dry,or does this mean i mit need a new one ??? thanks

Take it off your van, find someone who knows how to check starters and have it tested first.

Also your starter support bush in the bell housing may also be worn to buggery.
