speaker pods / enclosures

Post by slim_adi »

picking me multivan up this tuesday ( :D ) and one of the 1st things i'll be doin is getting some decent sounds in there

ive amassed 2 pairs of 6x9s, 1 pair of 5" mids, 1 pair of 6"mids, a 4 channel amp, a 350w 2 channel amp and a 10" sub

i'll probably be limiting myself to a pair of 6x9's in the R+R bed base and either the other pair or the 6s in the doors

not wanting to do too much hacking about of me door cards, so does anyone / anywhere sell pods or enclosures specifically for the T25 ?

cheers

Hi,

If you use pods it will seriously reduce quality of sound - make it tinny and nasty with lots of vibrations. You need to mount speakers as solidly as possible. You could get some old door cards from a scrapper, some from Just Kampers but these would need covering or best make some up from MDF.

Hope this helps.
