Most of those fields are left blank for cars/light vans. They are only for busses and lorrys or more moddrn vehicles (the CO2 cat for example).
Mines like this...
B - date first reg, your german reg date in your case
B1 - date first reg in UK, same as B for me as its a UK van. DVLA should sort this out, it'll be the day they process it.
D1 Make, Volkswagen.
D2 Model, "Syncro transporter D" on mine, many seem to have been left blank though on vehicles registed in the UK in the 80's, our old Caravelle for example. "transporter" seems a resionable thing to go for, I'd try that.
D3 - Pannel van, you'll want "Motor caravan" I think, check with DVLA (they have recognised phrases you've got to use).
X - tax - Privite /light goods (PLG)
Y rev weight 2500gross (think most T3's are like this unless they have extra/reduiced payload option.
P1 - your engine size in cc, 1900cc would do as they don't have to be that accurate.
P3 - fuel type - "heavy oil" = diesel, "petrol" for petrol I think.
D4 - wheelpan - 2-axle rigid body
E - Vin/chassis number
P5 - Engine number - Optional?
R - colour - basic colours only I think ("White" not "Pastal white" for example), if your going to change it and put the new colour then be careful they don't want to inspect it. Its easy to change afterwards (though obveosuly the papers will be in the post for ages because of it). I think you can put "twotone" or "Multicoloured" aswell if your motor looks like it fits the title.
The referance codes are as they apear on the V5C, wouldn't surpise me if other DVLA forms use a different number system to make sure no one can understand it!
All other fields I wouldn't worry about - the less you tell them the less they can do you for. Every V5C I've had only has those fields filled, 2001 onward cars don't have much more than that eather.
