leisure battery

Ive got no power to the 12v, ive checked all fuses and im guessing that the leisure battery is knackered ? Any ideas ? Its a 1990 autosleeper 16td, if it is the battery what do they cost ?

hi darbs
have u tried charging battery ?
may be just dead or not getting a charge .
get it tested at local motor factor or
get a hydrometer probably the chepest way to test ,for a couple of quid .

is it a proper leisure battery.as they really need a leisure battery charger.to charge them off the van.if its a starter battery being used as a leisure battery.then do this to check if its holding a charge..

remove it put it on charge for 24hrs.check the voltage with a tester.leave it stood(not on charge) for another 24hrs.check the voltage again.if its lower than the first time you tested it.you need to replace the battery
