Dropping fuel tank consumables

I'm going to be dropping my fuel tank in order to change my coolant pipes.

Are there any seals, pipes etc that have to be changed when doing this? I know its often a good idea to replace the pipe from fuel tank to breather tank (is this the 5,7mm stuff?), but is there anything else I need to purchase before I start the job?

Thanks, Jonathan

I did mine without removing the tank. there is a metal tie to snip above the fuel tank, then the pies will pull through. Tank out is last resort, real can 'O worms, but then you may avoid problems with fuel leaks in future and see the real state of your brake and clutch lines I suppose.

So I guess from the lack of responses I don't need anything then, lets just hope its nice weather tomorrow

 use a scissor jack to lower the (empty) tank gradually and disconect the hoses as soon as you can get your hand in.

keytouch,
Here are a couple of links to the wiki (top of this page) which you may find useful. Yet another job I have not done myself.
