Anyone going to Bucks got a decent set of spring compressors I could borrow or possibly just use at the event ?
I need to install some front shims, but the compressors I have aren't up to the job.

i had hell of a job to fit the lift shims i made for my syncro.
i ended up compressing the springs in the workshop (floor mounted hydrolic) compressor and i then cut i inch wide lengths of steal, wrapped them around the compressed spring (leaving top and bottom coils free) and welded them tight. this kept them compressed untill it was all fitted then just cut the steal with a snips and bingo job done.
very easy if a little dangerous.
