Part numbers for those interested in such things

Post by Ian Hulley »

Having just fitted a new flywheel to the late 1.9 DG ( ) here are the part numbers ......

228mm Flywheel ... 025 105 271 X £205 less £80 exchange for a used unit.
Screw (5 off) ... N 902 268 01

VW will not divulge this part number and they will not 'release' a flywheel from Germany without the registration of the relevant vehicle.

And I have a brand new one again if anyone needs one, it was removed from a new engine as the new engine was reshimmed for an automatic flex plate.

 I only posted it so peeps could get the part numbers

They're 'confidential' at VW light commercial... and not shown on vagcat. The flywheel from VW is ex Germany and they'll only release it against a registration number ..... perhaps to prevent incorrect ordering ?
