Hi all
Haven't posted for an age now just been lurking.
Just in the process of converting my Caravelle GL from a 7 seater to an 8 seater using a bench seat out of a scrapped van (too many kids and in-laws!!) and Adrian Flux have said they won't insure it as it will then be classed as a minibus.
Any recommendations on what I can do or who I can insure with.
Your help will be greatly appreciated

Speak to Matt and Torz....had the same problem I think....
Adrian flux insured my 8 seater until it went to VW heaven...I just had to promise that we had 6 (his 4 and my 2) kids and wouldn't use it as a taxi... (well, jus the kids taxi, anyway!)

Thanks for that, I cheekily asked a guy who's selling an 8 seater on e-bay and he said Adrian Flux as well?!!
Guess I've got a call to make tomorrow and argue the case although I've had a price of £268 from Liverpool victoria so I don't know if this is good or bad.
