We went to see a C-reg T25 1.6TD today that the owner is keen to be rid of as he doesn't use it anymore. However as the van has been idle for over a year he couldn't start it up. He reckoned that the battery was flat and tried to start it up using jump leads but failed. The engine is a replacement and has done 90k miles. We are going back on Tuesday to see if he has managed to start it up. What issues should I be looking for as I'm not a great mechanic and don't want a donkey parked outside the house sitting idle. Any advice is appreicated. Oh he is looking for £1300 for a quick sale.
