Simon, ive been thinking about a 2.0L Aircooled, is it really that simple?
Someone once said i need to change the clutch too???
Also ive searched for these complete engines and theyre quite rare.

1600cc CT engines are notoriously bad.
that so, that i have seen 1, possibly 2 through the garage in the last 3 years, there have ben many more vans that left the factory as CT's but have all been treated to a CU.
Flywheel is different, as is clutch, but if you want to swap to 2.0l you'll need the gearbox aswell or it will be revving it's nads of when it has plenty more go left in it.
put the CT in the bottom of the canal where it belongs and find a 2.0l for it.
Sounds harsh, but it's duly so.
