HELPPPPPPPPP I need wipers

Hi, my electrical problems don't stop! The wipers decided to only work on the second speed. I've changed the motor and swapped the relay over from a working system. I'm now presuming that the column switch is cream crackered! Is there any other switch in the system? My Haynes manual is proving usless. I have cross refrenced to old Bug and Bus manuals which seem to be far more informative, is it me or are they trying to stop DIY repairs? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Stu

i would guess it is either the stalk switch, or the wiring.......

and yes, haynes aint what they were...... too much time trying to work out what spanner rating, not enough time showing what we need to see!

Thanks, think the switch is next to change as the wiring seems ok. They were working fine, then they decided to pack up at the same time as the heater blower!
