has anybody bought indicator light they are clear lights could you tell me what the two extrea wires are for thanks rab

as you have clear indicators now make sure you use yellow bulbs or the plod wont be happy!! or the MoT man either!!

Are the ment to be side lamps (white but you've already got some of them in the headlamps) or sidemarker lamps (orange)? If they are E aproved I guess it should say, probubly in a code. As the indicators are rapround they are visable from the side - thats why vans after 1986 still don't have a seperate side repeater. US vans had them as sidemarkers but they were also the only front sidelamps too, which can be orange there. I was just wondering on the legal issues of them in the UK, if they carry an E marking that should explain their perpouse with no confusion (handy if a traffic cop trys to have a go).
As for putting white indicator bulbs in clear lenses, its probubly not possable as most amber bulbs/clear lenses have a different pin arangement so the wrong colour bulb won't fit.
