panel material covering

Post by budbombpipe »

Hi, i want to recover the interior panels on my caravelle. I was thinking of using some kind of carpet material. Anyone on here know where i can get some good stuff, reasonably priced? Also the best way to secure it, glue or staples? thanks.

We found that carpet (rather than proper lining) was more in our budget and we found the best priced stuff was from allied carpets £3.98 per square metre for grey stuff they have other colours cheaper like beige and brown etc. Been fixing ours with spray adhesive from proper job £3.99 a can and using a staple gun to help hold as the carpet is quite thick. Also need stanley blades, lots of them!
Hope that helps
