Post by colouredFunk »

Hey guys,

Do you reckon it's posible to get the new vw flip keys to work in 1983 locks (t25 van)?

Most 20 year old locks can be opened just by looking at them the wrong (or right ) way.
I'm sure the flip keys will work just like a blunt screwdriver.

LOL  I like it!

yeah I'm starting to think your right... I watched a top gear episode the other day when someone broke into an old van in less than 5 secs!!!

I wonder if you can just replace the barrels to a new sort??

try these instead, you get the reciever as well so you can make the buttons actually do something. i've fitted one of these to my t4, and know a few other folk that have used them too! not genuine vag but they look the part and work well too!

with these you should be able to get them supplied with the correct blanks too so you won't have to go modifying your van!
