Try this product from U Pol the company that first brought us plasic padding or Body filler/Bog/Cocky what ever you wish to call it.
Gravi-Gard - Stone Chip Aerosol

Tough, hard, durable coating designed to reproduce the manufacturers original stone chip finish.
BENEFITS
Protects against stone chips, salt, damp and rust.
Helps to deaden sound and vibrations and is, therefore, ideal for application to panels and inside engine compartments.
Covers weld marks and seams, often in one application.
