Handsfree mobile phone kit

Post by belgianbill »

I am about to invite Orange to fit a Nokia ck7w handsfree kit into my 1990 T25 ( brand new kit with installation voucher).

Anyone done this and got any tips about where to site the microphone and aerial? On my T5 Caravelle the fitter merely removed a pillar trim and ran the aerial/mic leads up inside but not possible on a T25 and there is nowhere to put the mic as the rear view mirror and sunvisors are in the way!

I have fitted the very same kit to my van, i ran the wire up behind the windscreen rubber and mounted the microphone at the top near the sun visor.

I'm not sure what you mean by aerial as mine hasn't got one, the speaker i have mounted to the left of the steering column.
