flashing coolant light

Hi there,

Just fixed my instrument panel, had no feul gague or ny of the lights working. So all i well now, was just wandering if its normal that when you turn the ignition on that the oil light comes on for a few seconds and the coolant light blinks for 5 seconds then turns off?

I'm it already been asked but the search feature on this site isn't all that.

When turning on the ignition the oil warning light wiill come on until you start the engine & get the oil circulating. The coolant light will flash a few times as a 'self test' & will then go out.
