Westy Gas Bottle
I'm sure it's been asked before, and I'm sure it'll get asked again, but is it just a case of taking out the brown German gas bottle, finding a calor gas type one that will fit in the cupboard, and then change the connector on the rubber pipe? I've been very lucky with mine in that it hasn't run out yet in nearly 18 months, but I'm sure it must be about to soon. Although that just goes to show how rubbish the weather has been in not letting us get away!
Yes but if your fridge and cooker run on 50mb as some do a new standard GB regulator will be 33mb,I think.
Thus meaning less gas is getting to the flame on the fridge.
I have the same set up as you are thinking about and it works, but due to my fridge being made to run on 55mb I have decided to change to an underslung tank with a 50mb regulator, basically the fridge will work better in hotter conditions.
Although you could change the Jet I suppose.
First thing to do is find out what mb your fridge is, it shoud be on a sticker inside the fridge.
Mine is.
