Rear fog lamps question

Post by domiles1 »

Does a T25 normally have TWO working fog lamps or is the off-side only meant to function?
The reason I ask is that I have been trying to get both working, only to find that there is one less wire going to the near side light unit and there is no +ve connection in the fog lamp socket of the unit. I wondered then if the near side was never supposed to have a fog light.
Cheers
Dom

Rear fog lamps question

VW only fitted one rear fog lamp on their vehicles. It is fitted to the offside light cluster. :)

Dom, don't worry about it, you're not alone  I looked at mine the other day in prep for an MOT and noticed only one working, took the nearside lens off and sure enough there's a (working) bulb in there but it didn't light up, I just added it to the ever growing list of must do jobs!!
