I've had my 2.1 petrol converted to a 1.6 diesel to try and beat Mr Brown's attempt to price us off the road!
Does anyone know the difference between a petrol and diesel Ebberspatcher? Are there any internal parts that could be changed to make it run on diesel or is it a completely different unit?
Can anyone point me in the direction of an ebber expert? Someone suggested that I fit a small petrol tank somewhere, just to run the heater. But I'd rather keep it tidy and run it off the main tank if possible.
Cheers
Matt

Should have gone for LPG,Diesel prices are only going up and up(even more so than petrol)
(having opened can of worms stands well back
)
In answear to you question sell the petrol eber and fit an airtronic diesel one they won't convert.-try contacting Spannerrack he sometimes has them available for a good price.
The seperate tank for your petrol one is the best option-I have done it the otherway arround(diesel eber in a petrol van) and it works well.

It`s not the neatest way of doing it, but a seperate petrol tank will be cheaper than either trying to mod the Eber you`ve got, or selling it and finding a diesel one.
Maximus on here has done just what you`ve done, it will cost you as no-one seems to want petrol Ebers at any sort of money, IrishKeet sold one last week for around £25 complete
It`ll cost you £200 - £300 to source and fit a newer type diesel one.

Keep it real.
