ok...bought a second hand autohomes kamper interior I thinnk. The one with the water tank under the seat
Got the cooker unit in. Got the side unit in. Got the water tank and front plat in. Got the first half of the bed in, and can sort of see how the second piece fits.
What I can't work out is how the seat belts work?? The seat sits too far back on the engine bay for them to go down the back of the seat base as they did for the rnr hinged bed. Cant have them pulling the bed forward in an (god forbid) accident.
How have other people managed this?
Emma

Hi, we have an autohomes - it has three belts in the back - two lap and one three point - not interia reel. The back of the first bed base had been shaped to allow the belts thro - mountings are on the raised floor pan as it runs back to the engine - the three point is simmilar, however the shoulder belt runs back to a mounting below the rear window. All must be sound 'cos it gets thro the MOT - hope this makes sense if not could take photo's if that would help....

Ivybus - you offer hope where previously only frustration and despair reigned!! Have you managed to get three belts on on 3/4 bed then? Supoose it would be ok fo r3 small children?
It sort of makes sense, but some photos would be brill. If you cannot post them, I will pm you with an e-mail address!
While you are at it, if you could do a couple of piccies showing how the bed pieces fix in, that would be wonderful! Mine has a load of u shaped brackets....I think I can see how they fit, but not 100% sure. How does it all fix down....I keep looking at it and it seems something is missing, but cannot see what or where!
thanks again
Emma

Hi Emma, got the pics - also one of the front bracket layout for the RnR bed - the back is very simmilar - but couldn't get to it to photo - the rear of the van is another dumping ground! It's not obvious how you upload photo's so please pm me with an address and I will get back to you.

Emma, our is like this too. Can i just add that the 'seat' part of the rear seat sits over the water tank and the 'back' part of the seat is roughly on the top of the slope if you know what i mean. I fitted a 3 point inertia belt from JK, (the extra long version), with no probs at all.Ivybvus wrote: The back of the first bed base had been shaped to allow the belts thro
If you need some more piccies let me know and I'll do me best
