occasional wont idle??

2.1 DJ Auto.
New engine 2 years ago.
Runs fine, plenty of acceleration.
Occasionaly, when cold turns over and starts but dies and wont idle.
Revs drop almost instantly to zero. No hunting or missfireing.
10 seconds of using the accelerator to keep revs up and it is fine.

Overdue for a service but air filter, plugs, and ISU seem fine.

I'd just like to get to the bottom of this before it gets annoying.

You can't beat a good intermitent fault to keep you guessing........

In the mean time I be starting with the temp senders and the wiring to the ECU .........Bentley covers any wiring checks for this type of fault.
